WRC Welcomes Three to Leadership Team
The WRC Group welcomed three individuals to our leadership team this year. Derek Metcalf joined WRC as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Treasurer, Brett Daniels as Vice President of Reinsurance and Greg Gonnering as Vice President of Mutual Assistance.
Derek Metcalf was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at National Guardian Life Insurance Company. He previously held the roles of Vice President, Treasurer and Corporate Secretary at Catholic Family Life Insurance Company. He is a member of the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Brett Daniels served as Director of Reinsurance Underwriting at Grinnell Mutual in Iowa. He previously had a management role at Indiana Insurance Company as Unit Leader – Commercial Underwriting. Brett will lead the Reinsurance Department Team in partnering with your mutual to identify and address your reinsurance needs.
Greg Gonnering comes to WRC with 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. His previous role was Vice President of Claims at Mutual of Wausau in Wausau, Wisconsin. He also held leadership positions as a branch manager and property field claims manager. In his role, Greg will lead the Mutual Assistance Team in partnering with you by providing guidance when you request assistance with such issues as strategic planning, claims, underwriting, forms and loss control.
