Giving Back

Dairy Challenge

We joined mutual insurance clients in supporting the dairy industry as farmers and businesses struggled during the pandemic. Every week during June Dairy Month, WRC purchased cheese from a Wisconsin cheese store in a different region of the state and donated it to a local food bank.

Charitable Contributions Chosen by Employees

Each year The WRC Group donates to charities on behalf of employees. Every employee is invited to submit a request for a $100 donation to a charity of their choice. Employees and the company made a difference through $4,100 in donations to 38 nonprofit organizations in 2020.

Missouri Food Banks

During the holidays, we partnered with food banks throughout the state of Missouri to provide 9,000 meals. WRC’s Peggy McDaniel, Reinsurance Manager – Missouri (right), presents a check to Liz Townsend Bird, Director of Development for The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri.

Meals for Front-Line Healthcare Workers


In honor of Giving Tuesday, we showed appreciation to front-line hospital workers for their selfless efforts and commitment to patient care. We ordered 50 pizzas from a local restaurant to be delivered to University Hospital. The variety of tasty pizzas helped sustain the healthcare heroes.
