WRC Named a Best Place to Work in Insurance for Second Year
The WRC Group has been named in the annual Best Places to Work in Insurance program, which recognizes employers for their outstanding performance in establishing workplaces where employees can thrive, enjoy their work and help their companies grow.
WRC is one of the leading mutual reinsurers in the United States. The company partners with mutual clients, offering products and services they need to remain competitive, providing professional guidance when requested, and advancing funds quickly to assist with large-scale losses. The WRC Group includes Wisconsin Reinsurance, 1st Auto, WRC Agency and Wisconsin Adjusting Service, Inc.
“The WRC Group is thrilled to be named a Best Company to Work for in Insurance for a second year in a row!” says Jason Fogg, WRC Executive Vice President. “Our people are what makes WRC special and we couldn’t be prouder of them. They have stayed focused and positive during what has been one of the most challenging times many of us have faced. We can’t thank them enough for their hard work and dedication. Not only do our colleagues look out for our customers, they look out for each other. It’s that culture that makes WRC such a wonderful place to work.”
WRC performs well in employee ratings for culture and benefits. Employees also give WRC high marks for its response to the pandemic, including a commitment to safety, a seamless transition to employees working from home and prompt fulfillment of equipment needs. The company focuses on giving back, and employees remain active participants in that effort. They share their time and talents for numerous company-sponsored events, including volunteering at a local food bank.
Best Places to Work in Insurance is an annual sponsored content feature presented by the Custom Publishing unit of Business Insurance and Best Companies Group that lists the agents, brokers, insurance companies and other providers with the highest levels of employee engagement and satisfaction. Harrisburg, Pennsylvania-based Best Companies Group identifies the leading employers in the insurance industry by conducting a free two-part assessment of each company. The first part is a questionnaire completed by the employer about company policies, practices and demographics. The second part is a confidential employee survey on engagement and satisfaction.
The program divides employers into the categories of small, 25-249 employees; medium, 250-999 employees; and large, 1,000 or more employees. This year’s report features 100 companies of various sizes, from 25 employees to more than 4,000.
The ranking and profiles of the winning companies will be unveiled as a sponsored content supplement in the October issue of Business Insurance and online at BusinessInsurance.com.
