Maryfer Fernandez, Claims Representative
Maryfer Fernandez, Claims Representative, started on May 9.
“I’m currently enrolled full-time for my Bachelor of Arts degree, and in my free time I like to explore new places. It’s always refreshing and beautiful to see what the world has to offer. I previously worked as a sales agent for a year and an office assistant for three years, which gave me the Insurance knowledge and administrative skills needed to be a successful Claims Rep. 1st Auto provided me the opportunity to jumpstart my career as they offered an entry-level claims position. They also emphasized the importance of teamwork, openness and growth opportunities throughout the company. That had me sold!”
Ramon Morales, Billing Specialist
Ramon Morales, Billing Specialist, started on March 14.
“I am very excited to join the 1st Auto team. I was born in Madison, Wisconsin, and I have been here my whole life. I have over 15 years of experience in finance and wealth management, as well as a degree in Criminal Justice. In my free time I like to play music here and there and be around family and friends whenever I can. I absolutely love watching sports, especially football (Go Pack Go), MMA and basketball.”
Traci Peterson, Claims Representative
Traci Peterson, Claims Representative, started on January 10.
“I started with 1st Auto in January and am loving the transition. I was primarily handling bodily injury general liability claims for Albertsons/Safeway, focusing on resolving prior to litigation. I started working in the field after graduating from high school. I recently got married and am a mother of four boys (a 22-year-old, a 17-year-old and 11-year-old twins) and two stepsons (ages 14 and 8). There’s never a dull moment! In our spare time, we are outdoors as much as possible. We go to the lake, ride trails and go hunting. Now that our wedding is done, I plan on picking up a good book again and spending time in my craft room.”
Amyra Riffle, Claims Representative
Amyra Riffle, Claims Representative, started on May 9.
“I have been working as an auto claims adjuster for about seven years. I previously worked at American Family, QBE and National General Insurance. What brought me to WRC and 1st Auto was that it is a smaller, local company. I really appreciate being viewed as a person, and not just a number by my employer. Everyone has been so welcoming, helpful and kind! I grew up in the area and have family close as well. Some of my favorite things to do are spend time with family and friends, work on house projects with my husband and play with our dog.”
