We are continuing our feature on 1st Auto claim professionals. We are committed to fostering the relationships between our claims team and agency partners, and hope this provides a glimpse into the life of someone you’ve worked with!

Our featured claims professional is Angie Rosga. Angie started with the company in 2005 as a Claims Administrative Assistant. She was promoted to Level 1 Claims Representative in 2015 and to Level 2 Claims Representative in 2019. Angie was promoted again this year to Level 3 Claims Representative. She handles a wide variety of claims including coverage investigations and complex property and bodily injury claims.

What are some of your hobbies?

Angie: I wish I had some – I just try to spend time enjoying life with family and friends, and my dog, Arlo.

What are five words that best describe you?

Angie: Fun, helpful, caring, honest, loyal.

What is something people would be surprised to know about you?

Angie: That I have a favorite blanket that I must sleep with, and I take it with me for overnight stays.

Where is your favorite place you have traveled?

Angie: Cocoa Beach, Florida, with my family.

What is your favorite movie, TV show or podcast?

Angie: “Chicago Fire,” “Young and The Restless.”

If you could meet any celebrity or public figure from the past or present, who would it be and why?

Angie: Currently, Luke Combs — he is just so humble and kind and would be a lot of fun to hang out with.

What led you to a career in the insurance industry?

Angie: Just random timing. About 20 years ago, I ended up starting as an admin for another insurance company and it just evolved from there.

What do you like most about handling insurance claims?

Angie: I like the variety of claims, the investigating and coming to the best conclusion for all involved.

What is one of your most memorable claims experiences?

Angie: When an insured called and wanted her towing bill paid as she could not afford it; I paid it and she sent me a letter telling me I was such an angel!

What advice would you offer our agents to assist the claims department in providing an exceptional claims experience for our customers?

Angie: To provide us with the most accurate contact information — phone number, email addresses, home address, etc. — so that first contacts can be made quickly.
