I’ve been in an accident; what should I do?

Please call your agent to report your claim. Be sure to provide your agent with your current phone numbers, email addresses and the best time to reach you.

After I filed a claim, what happens next?

A claims representative will promptly contact you and will work with you to conclusion.

How long do I have to file my claim?

We recommend you report your claim as soon as possible so 1st Auto can respond appropriately.

What are my options for vehicle repairs?

You may select any shop of your choice for vehicle repairs.

How many estimates do I need?

We will need one estimate from the shop of your choice along with photos of your vehicle damage. An appraiser will review your estimate and contact your shop of choice to reach an agreed price for repairs, or we may send a field appraiser to further inspect the vehicle damage.

What should I do if my vehicle was involved in a hit-and-run?

We recommend you file a report with the police department and contact your agent.

When I enter the payment portal, why do I see a US Bank logo?

US Bank is our trusted service provider which allow us to securely receive online customer payment by credit card or checking account.
