Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Reports to:  VP of the WRC Agency 

Non-Exempt (subject to overtime)

  • Must be comfortable working independently in a high-paced, yet quiet office

Educational Requirements:  

  • High school diploma
  • Wisconsin P&C Agent License Required
  • Minimum of 6 months prior personal and commercial lines experience.

Lifting Requirements:  

  • Minimal

Responsibilities (Primary/Secondary/Other):  


  • Collect and process daily mail
  • Process daily payments
  • Maintain daily suspense activities and document all interaction between clients, agents, staff and self.
  • Follow upon underwriting requests
  • Follow up on expired policies and proposals not accepted in a timely manner
  • Forward policy documentation to agents/clients as necessary
  • Service existing personal and commercial lines accounts
  • Receive, research, and answer customer and agent inquiries and requests regarding accounts, products, rates, and services offered with the assistance of the account managers
  • Issue or order Certificates of Insurance
  • Remain current on changes in underwriting rules, procedures, policies, and products offered
  • Provide excellent phone and direct contract service to clients, agents, and prospects


  • Quote, service, and sell new and existing personal and commercial lines business with the assistance of the account managers
  • Assist in making sure website and processing documentation is accurate
  • Meet with clients as needed and attend company functions
  • Contribute to newsletter articles

Other duties as assigned by the VP of WRC Agency

Computer programs required for position:  

  • Microsoft Office products:  Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Applied TAM experience a plus
