Did You Know?
The following is a brief description of coverages offered on most personal automobile insurance policies. Please read your policy as the policy will have actual terms, conditions, and exclusions which apply.
Liability is when an insured is legally responsible for bodily injury or property damage to others. Protection is provided when "you" use your vehicle, to household members while driving vehicles authorized in the policy, and others driving your vehicle with your permission.
Medical Payments provides payment for medical and funeral expenses for covered persons, regardless of fault, when those expenses are related to an auto accident.
Collision provides payment for accidental loss or damages to your vehicle caused by collision or upset, regardless of who is at fault. A deductible is applied.
Other Than Collision provides payment for accidental loss or damage to your vehicle from most causes except collision or upset. A deductible is applied.
Uninsured Motorist provides payment when a covered person is injured in an auto accident caused by a driver who does not have any liability insurance.
Underinsured Motorist provides payment when a covered person is injured in an auto accident caused by another driver who has insufficient liability limits to pay for your loss. Limits provided may be reduced by policy language.
Transportation Expenses provides payment for renting a car when your auto is disabled because of a loss to your covered auto. Basic policy provides, at no cost, a limited amount per day with a maximum amount. This will vary by state.
Coverage statements on this Web site are for general description purposes only. This Web site does not amend, modify, or supplement the policies. Furthermore, not all coverages are available in every state. Consult the actual policy, or contact your Agent who can supply you with details regarding terms, conditions, coverages, exclusions, products, services, and programs which may be available to you.
